We may also collect information generated through your use of Mealcrest, such as usage logs, device information, approximate location information, pages visited, referring links, and interaction signals tied to platform performance and safety.
Where relevant to host onboarding or platform operations, we may collect additional business, identity, compliance, or operational information needed to support hosting relationships responsibly.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate the service, respond to inquiries, support hosts and guests, improve the product, personalize discovery, maintain safety, measure performance, communicate updates, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand how experiential dining communities form and how Mealcrest can better support them.
4. Sharing
We may share information with service providers who help us host infrastructure, deliver communications, analyze performance, prevent abuse, or otherwise operate Mealcrest. We may share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or similar business transaction.
We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of that phrase. Public content and profile information you choose to publish may be visible to others by design.
5. Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and support legitimate business needs. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure. You should also take steps to protect your own account credentials and devices.
